Warren MacKenzie candle holders, set of two
Candlesticks from a set commissioned with Warren MacKenzie in the late 1970s. Most went into use at a Twin Cities church. The remaining candlesticks were sold to a private collector 40 years ago.
Curated Ceramics first encountered these in 2017 and broached the topic with Warren and his daughter Tamsyn. They remember them being made but not which church commissioned them. So for now that detail is lost.
We are offering this first (of three) pairs from this private collection. Each has a single professionally restored crack on the flange. Neither repair is visible but under inspection with bright lights. I was unable to capture such detail with our camera.
Each measures approx 6 x 4.75 inches (D x H). One is slightly taller than the second. Neither are marked (as was customary with commissions).
