Reitz was a professor of ceramics at UWM (1962 to 1988) at the time this was made. This example is unmarked and from the estate of a fellow ceramics professor in the UW system. Attribution is confirmed by friends of Don Reitz.
Condition- pot has an in-place firing crack on foot made for a wire hanger. It rests flat for display on table and base is felt covered. Also shows nicely in a stand. Price discounted for this imperfection.
