Large Warren MacKenzie serving bowl/platter. Unmarked but from collection of a decades long friend of the MacKenzies. Nice detail with Warren's finger marks on the underside from glaze dipping. Likely dates to the 1990s. MacKenzie (1924–2018) profoundly influenced Midwestern studio pottery, establishing the Upper Midwest as a center for functional ceramics rooted in the Mingei tradition.
Measures 19.5 x 4.25 inches (DxH)
