Warren MacKenzie substantial faceted vase with rich tenmoku glaze. Unmarked, as was common in his work from the 1990s and early 2000s. MacKenzie (1924–2018) profoundly influenced Midwestern studio pottery, establishing the Upper Midwest as a center for functional ceramics rooted in the Mingei tradition. Slight lean and repaired rim chip; priced accordingly.
Measures 11 x 4 x 4inches (HxLxW)
